Ok so I wasn't able to accomplish as much as I would have liked the last two weeks as i've been pretty busy with life stuff so this is going to be a bit of a smaller post. However, I did manage to get in a few new assets for the walls and floors. Right now these assets are extremely temporary and are what I'm going to be used for level design going forward.
Here you can see the difference between the old style and the new one. While there's not a huge change I think I am happier with how the newer style looks. I still need to change some of the other assets like the research table and probably the player's sprite as well however I think for the foreseeable future I am going to focus more on the actual gameplay rather than the aesthetic.

So since I wasn't able to get to any actual programming these last few weeks, the first thing I am going to do is get all of the base gameplay systems working well together. Mainly including the research mini-game into the main gameplay loop and having the cauldron interaction be a little cleaner with some more user feedback. I also want to start working more on the quest and dialogue systems which I will continue with if I have some extra time near the end of the sprint.
